You will be working for a market-leading B2B publishing and exhibition company with a portfolio of brands across automotive, cycling, engineering and construction sectors.

We are seeking a professional sales executive to work from our St Albans office, primarily on our CyclingIndustry.News title.

You will have:
  • Previous sales experience. Within media print or online sales is an advantage.
  • An interest in the cycling and business landscapes.
  • Ability to understand clients’ needs and build relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A close working relationship with the editorial staff.
  • Confident, outgoing and ambitious.
  • Good negotiation and persuasion skills.

The successful candidate will have sales experience with a track record, be extremely well organised and results-driven.
Will look after accounts of their own, and will be expected to generate new business and prospects, find new clients and strengthen existing relationships.

The Role:
Sell magazine, digital and recruitment advertising over the phone, and in person. Occasionally you may sell space at house events.
Proactively create new sales opportunities to a portfolio of existing clients and develop new business.
To work with the design team, preparing detailed proposals.
While the role is telephone based, you will be attending meetings and events in the UK, and abroad - pitching packages to clients. You will need to have a driving license.
